July 9th, 7pm in the Red Fire barn, Granby.
Naturalist John Root will lead a wild edibles walk through the farm property. Everyone is welcome for this free walk, starting at 3:30 from the Red Fire barn. It's about an hour long exploration of the wild vegetation with explanations of how to ID and use our area's wild plants for food.
Take the hay wagon ride to the secluded Little Hill field to a picnic of an amazing local
meal, and kebabs for the grill. Wagon leaves at 5:20 pm from the Red Fire Barn.
The Strawberry Soiree was really great, so we think this will be really fun as well.
