Afternoon Strawberry Tasting at the Farm - Free!

2-5 pm in the fields at 184 Meadow Road, Montague

   Join us at the farm in Montague for a celebration of the strawberry during the peak of picking season! We grow at least nine varieties of strawberries, each with their own flavor.
   Come in the afternoon to try a tasting of the many strawberry varieties, enjoy some live music, take the Walking Tour, have fun at the Fairy House Building workshop, and pick your own organic berries - open to the public for the event.

Strawberry shortcake for sale! Also, quarts of our strawberries to take home!

Strawberry Feast in the Fields

   Later in the afternoon, join us for a lovely meal in the strawberry fields. Chef Bill McKerchie and Barnlight, creators of farm-based food and music revelry, will be serving up a five-course feast featuring rustic fare, festive song, and general revelry. Amuse-bouches and tasty victuals at 5:30, dinner service at 6pm. Featuring seasonal organic produce from our farm and local products from other area farms!

For our loyal Soiree crowd: Dinner this year will be a more swank experience than past seasons, wait staff, table service and all that loveliness, brought by Barnlight.

Dinner Menu:

arugula and strawberry
rhubarb vinegar, squash seed oil

peas and ricotta
walnut, beet, black garlic, mint

cucumber soup
green strawberry kimchi, radish

grilled romaine and lamb confit
anchovy, garlic scape, strawberry vinaigrette

spring vegetable cassoulet
white bean, peas, squash, greens

strawberry and rhubarb pie
whipped cream, rosemary

Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free* options available if requested at ticket purchase!
Live music during dinner!
*Dinner made in a facility that processes gluten-containing foods.
Dinner menu may change slightly based on crop availability.

As you order tickets you can make donations to the Whole Farm Affordability Campaign with Mount Grace Land Trust!

We completed the fundraising for the land, and now are raising the funds needed for the legal fees to finalize the farm affordability transfer to Mount Grace. Read more about the project here.

 Tickets for the dinner start at $55-65. Add a donation to your order and it will be fully tax deductible and will be used to fund final fees for Mount Grace's purchase of the Montague farmland. Find out about their Campaign for Affordable Farms!

Outdoor Concert with Jake Klar - Tickets are $12 or $10 with dinner.

Tickets for children under 12 are $30-40 for dinner.

*Kids under 5 are free to come to dinner without tickets if sharing the meal with their parents (as it is table service). Please note how many kids you are bringing in the comments at PayPal.


For dinner tickets, please check in at the Mount Grace tent at the Soiree, starting at 10am on Saturday to see if any dinner tickets have come available.

Concert tickets are still available - purchase at the Mount Grace tent between 10am-5pm.
